By creating an account or using Digital Skills for Africa, you agree to these Terms.
Digital Skills for Africa
Digital Skills for Africa provides educational and professional-development resources designed to support the development of practical digital, technology, artificial intelligence, business, and professional skills.
Available courses, programmes, prices, scholarship opportunities, and features may change over time.
Your Account
You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating and maintaining your DSA account.
You are responsible for activities conducted through your account and for protecting any password or authentication method associated with it.
You may access DSA using supported authentication methods, including Sign in with Google or email-based authentication.
You may not impersonate another person, create accounts using information you are not authorized to use, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account.
Learning Accounts
Your DSA learner account may contain information about course enrollments, learning progress, assessments, certificates, orders, and other educational activity.
Access to particular courses or features may depend on enrollment, payment, scholarship eligibility, programme participation, or other stated requirements.
Courses and Educational Content
DSA works to provide useful, accurate, and current educational material. However, technology and professional practices evolve rapidly, and course materials may be updated, revised, replaced, or withdrawn.
Completion of a DSA course does not guarantee employment, promotion, income, admission to another programme, scholarship selection, professional licensing, or any other specific outcome.
Scholarships
Digital Skills for Africa may offer scholarship opportunities funded by DSA or by third-party foundations, companies, universities, donors, and other partners.
Each scholarship may have its own eligibility requirements, deadlines, selection process, funding conditions, and terms.
Submitting a scholarship application does not guarantee selection or funding.
DSA may verify application information and may withdraw an award where eligibility requirements are not satisfied, information has been materially misrepresented, or programme conditions are violated.
Payments and Refunds
Certain DSA courses, certifications, services, or programmes may require payment.
Prices and applicable payment conditions will be displayed before purchase.
Where a third-party payment provider processes a transaction, its own terms may also apply.
Any applicable refund terms will be communicated through the relevant course, product, checkout process, or programme terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Digital Skills for Africa, interfere with the operation or security of the platform, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts, distribute malicious software, scrape or extract platform content at scale without authorization, use DSA services for unlawful purposes, or infringe the rights of DSA, instructors, learners, partners, or third parties.
DSA may restrict or terminate access where an account is used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in material violation of these Terms.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, DSA course materials, written content, graphics, platform materials, branding, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Digital Skills for Africa and its respective contributors.
Enrollment in a course grants you personal access to the relevant learning materials. It does not transfer ownership or grant permission to reproduce, sell, publish, redistribute, or commercially exploit course content without authorization.
Third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.
Certificates and Credentials
Where DSA issues certificates or other credentials, they represent completion of the requirements specified for that course or programme at the time they are issued.
DSA may revoke or correct credentials obtained through fraud, material misrepresentation, academic misconduct, or technical error.
Third-Party Services
DSA may integrate with services provided by companies such as Google, payment providers, hosting providers, video platforms, and other technology partners.
Your use of those services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, update, or discontinue parts of Digital Skills for Africa as the platform evolves.
We aim to maintain reliable access but cannot guarantee that the website or every course or feature will always be available without interruption.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Skills for Africa is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
