Today marks the beginning of the two-day training in Lilongwe at Lingadzi Inn, where women creatives from across Malawi are gathering for an insightful workshop titled:
This initiative is led by the Malawi Government’s Department of Arts, with funding from UNESCO, and is aimed at equipping women in the creative industry with essential knowledge and skills in Gender Equality, Business Development, and Digital Skills.
A Commitment to Digital Inclusion
As a proud content delivery partner, Digital Skills for Africa is excited to contribute to this important training by sharing expertise in digital literacy, online branding, and content creation. By integrating these digital skills, we aim to empower women creatives to expand their reach, grow their businesses, and make meaningful impacts in their communities.
Bringing the Learning Beyond the Workshop
Understanding that not everyone can attend in person, we have made all workshop content available on our e-learning platform. This ensures that even those unable to join physically can still access and benefit from the knowledge being shared. Interested creatives can register and access the materials through this link:
Looking Ahead
With today’s launch in Lilongwe, we look forward to two days of engaging discussions, hands-on learning, and inspiring stories from women making a difference in Malawi’s creative sector. Stay tuned for updates as we continue supporting this empowering initiative!
